| Basic Preparation After harvesting animal, detach the skull from the body and remove all of the hair and skin from the skull. Remove any attached vertebrae from the rear of the skull at the occipital condyle. Keep cool in refrigerator or on ice.

For Horned Game (antelope, sheep, buffalo, cattle), remove both horns. Keep cool in refrigerator or on ice.
